❓ FAQ: The DIY Furniture Paint Workshop
Do I need any painting experience or artistic talent?
Absolutely not! This class is designed for total beginners. If you can hold a paintbrush, you can do this. We teach you the techniques; you just provide the hands.
Can I bring a large item like a dresser or dining table?
No. Due to time constraints (drying time is key!) and space, we strictly require small pieces. Think: items you can carry under one arm. If you bring a large piece, you won't finish it in time.
Do I need to sand my furniture before I arrive?
No! Put the sandpaper down. Proper preparation is part of the curriculum. We will teach you how to assess the wood and prep it correctly during the first hour of the class.
Will my furniture be dry enough to take home?
Yes. We use high-quality, fast-drying furniture paints. Your piece will be "touch dry" by the end of the class, so you can carefully transport it home. We’ll give you advice on how to let it fully "cure" over the next few days.
What if I make a mistake?
That’s the best part about paint—it’s reversible! We are there to help you fix drips, smudges, or colour regrets instantly. You are in a safe space to learn.
I have a specific colour in mind. Will you have it?
We stock a wide range of trend-colors. If you have a very specific heart-set colour, please contact us a few days before the workshop so we can ensure we have it or something similar in stock.
